is so depressing. Being aware of Edie Sedgwick’s drug addiction, mental health issues, and her obvious eating disorder…it’s hard to enjoy watching a film of someone who foreshadowed her own downfall while living it.
And I just found out that she was let out of a mental hospital to film a few scenes and was driven back after her shock treatment scene for the actual…procedure. =/
Film: Woh Kaun Thi (1964)
Singer: Lata Mangeshkar
Watching Black Venus (Saartjie Baartman’s Story)…I am incredibly disturbed and disgusted with the objectification in the first scene. The sad part is that this is most likely an accurate portrayal of what happened. :(
Song: Saaqiyaa Aaj Mujhe Neend Nahin Aayegi
Album: Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam

“Saaqiyaa Aaj Mujhe Neend Nahin Aayegi” Asha Bhosle & Chorus ( साहिब बीबी और गुलाम Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, 1962)
Watched the first 5 minutes of the 4th battle scene in 300. I’ve never seen the movie, but damn…
The life of Aung San Suu Kyi on the big screen. I can’t wait to see this.
Watching Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.
Must Love Jaws
